We understand businesses have a real responsibility to help reduce the possibility of COVID-19 transmission in their organization, and as a technology innovator, WEI is here to help. As COVID-19 continues to challenge our daily lives, enterprise leaders are in need of a tool to ensure the safety of their employees while also promoting productivity and efficiency wherever possible. To help fill this need, WEI has introduced iCovidScreen, a web-based mobile COVID-19 self-screening application, utilizing a custom questionnaire based on the latest Centers For Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines.
In our 30+ years of business WEI has been fortunate to be able to share our success with those in our local communities. In fact, as a successful business headquartered in Salem, NH, we feel we have an important role to play in supporting the wellbeing of our local communities. It’s been part of our corporate mission since the company’s inception; however our employees are what takes our commitment to community to the next level.
WEI prides itself on giving back to the community, and recognizes that the community service opportunities our employees and their families participate in are a vital part of being a successful business.
WEI recognizes that community service is a vital part of being a successful business and encourages employees to participate in volunteerism. On June 12, WEI hosted its annual “Thank Our Military” barbecue in partnership with the Pease Greeters. WEI employees and their families were welcomed for an afternoon of fun community service featuring delicious BBQ food, creating handmade greeting cards, and assembling care packages for servicemen and servicewomen.
We are proud to share that on Thursday, May 11, the WEI team spent the day in Lawrence, MA, volunteering our time, strength and grit with the Merrimack Valley Habitat for Humanity organization. This is the second year that WEI has worked together with Habitat for Humanity through WEI’s corporate responsibility and sustainability program, WEI StepsUp. The program gives all WEI employees four paid hours each month to volunteer with organizations that support the surrounding community. Each employee is offered the chance to donate up to 48 hours per year doing charity work and approximately 30 WEI employees were on site for the day, including WEI’s co-founder and VP, Leslie Rosas.
